At sea and on land
Activities can be adapted to suit everyone’s taste, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you’re looking for.
Our boats are equipped to offer every guarantee of safety.
Some of the activities and excursions are provided by carefully selected service providers who offer every guarantee of competence, safety and equipment reliability.
In this context, Antoremba provides organisation, boat transfers and packed lunches.

SEA
Trip

Excursion
Excursion to Nosy Tanikely, the natural marine reserve.
Excursion to Nosy Iranja, visit the island, walk on the sandbank.

Snorkelling
Start from the beach in front of your bungalow. You’ll swim among the fish and turtles while admiring the coral reef.
Tanikely: natural marine reserve 20 minutes by boat. You’ll swim in an extraordinary giant aquarium.
Swim, mask, snorkel.
Fins, mask and snorkel can be provided.

Scuba
Numerous spots for all levels 30 minutes by boat, starting from Antoremba beach.
Coral gardens, curious groupers, turtles… and many wrecks.
instructors are CMAS and Padi qualified.
Equipment provided. All levels of certification available
Baptism for beginners. Equipment provided.

Paddle, Kayak
For sports enthusiasts, the lodge offers kayaking, paddle boarding and wakeboarding. These activities allow you to make the most of the waters around the lodge.

Whales
Whale season runs from September to November.
You can spot them on a whale safari or during one of your excursions and with a bit of luck (and binoculars), maybe even from the lodge beach.

Cruise
Catamaran, with skipper and cook
In the bay of Nosy Be, in the Mitsio archipelago to the north or the Radama archipelago to the south.

Fishing
– Full-day sport fishing for “amateurs”.
– Half-day or full-day “pleasure” fishing for the uninitiated.
Traditional pirogue fishing with a fisherman (paddle and sail) around the lodge.

Mamoko
50 minutes by boat
Back to the last century.
Old fishing village.
Prankster lemurs, hundred-year-old tortoise.
In season, swimming under a waterfall and in natural pools.

Nosy Komba
25 minutes by boat
The village of Ampangorina. Handicrafts of wood carvings, superb embroidered clothes and tablecloths, woven objects…
Visit the animal park and meet Makis, the lemurs who will come and eat bananas on your shoulder.
Tour of the island by boat, snorkelling stop or simply swimming on a deserted sandbank (depending on the tide).
Visit the village of Antamotamo, specialists in the construction of traditional pirogues (depending on tide).

Millot plantation
1 hour away (boat & taxi)
Established more than a century ago, it farms almost 1,000 hectares and employs nearly a thousand people.
Its production of cocoa, spices and aromatic herbs is recognised by the world’s leading chocolate makers and perfumers. Visit to the essential oil distillery.

The Sambirano
avec un guide
15-minute boat ride, then from Ankify 1.5 hours by 4×4 or 2.5 hours by mountain bike. Then 30 minutes by pirogue (impassable at certain times).
Walk on a 4×4 track (mountain bike for the brave) through plantations and villages along the banks of the Sambirano River.

Nosy Be
– Stroll through Hellville and its colonial architecture, through its colourful markets with the scent of spices and various perfumes.
-A visit to its beaches and seaside villages, walks in the countryside and plantations.
At the top of Mount Passot, contemplate the panorama over the coastline of the entire island and the sacred lakes below.
– Possibility of a quad bike excursion.
Possibility of spending a night in Nosy Be to take advantage of the ‘nightlife’.
